FRoC was formed on 16th December 2015 from a group of ladies that wanted more than just a facebook page of women that rode motorbikes. We wanted more rides and with an ethos of encouraging lady riders of all ages and skill levels on all sorts of bikes, to get together in friendship for events both on and off their bikes.
FRoC is not a group that charges fees or membership and all members are welcome to belong to other motorcycle groups and clubs.
FRoC meets informally between 5.15-7.30pm, once a fortnight for a meal and/or drink at The Statesman Hotel, Cnr Strangways & Theodore Streets, CURTIN, ACT, 2605
You are free to come at 5pm or anytime inbetween as we understand that many people may be coming from work or from organising dinner for family etc. You do not have to attend our fortnightly meetups to be able to join us on our rides.
It is also understood that many people only ride for enjoyment and therefore you do not need to turn up to our fortnightly meets on a bike. This is especially handy in winter when it may be too wet or cold to ride—no matter how much wet weather gear you have on.
FRoC members range in age form 17 years to over 65 years. They ride a range of bikes including Sports bikes, Cruisers, Adventure bikes, Scooters, Trail bikes, Track, and Can-Ams. We accept all levels of riders including Learners, P Platers, New riders, Mature Riders, Returning Riders, everyday commuters, fair weather riders, track riders and moto x riders.
FRoC is a very social group and in addition to our rides we also do:
